Finds/ Standards

We look for the
useful difference.

EZ Finds is designed to reduce a confusing market into understandable choices. A guide should remain useful even if every merchant link is removed.

What makes a recommendation useful

  1. 01

    A specific problem

We begin with the reader’s situation rather than a generic shopping category.

  2. 02

    A meaningful difference

Dimensions, material, compatibility, capacity, and maintenance matter when they change the fit.

  3. 03

    A real limitation

Every recommendation should make its tradeoff legible. Sometimes the simpler answer is not to buy anything.

Evidence and testing

Consequential factual claims need an identified source. Not every recommended item is personally tested; when firsthand testing is used, the testing status is identified. Product specifications, pricing, availability, and merchant policies can change, so verify critical details before purchasing.

How merchant links work

Product recommendations and merchant links are separate. A product type can remain in an editorial guide even if no retailer link is available. When affiliate links are enabled, EZ Finds may earn a commission from qualifying purchases at no additional cost to the reader.

We do not publish dynamic retailer prices, ratings, review counts, scarcity claims, or invented firsthand experiences. Health-, veterinary-, medical-, and safety-sensitive products are intentionally limited.

Where topics belong

Beauty, small-space living, and digital products each have their own EZ Finds homes. We link to those properties instead of creating duplicate content inside Finds.
